Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between fixed and tilt models?

Fixed downlights aim straight down for even general lighting, while tilt models let you angle the light to wash walls or highlight features. Both styles are available in the range.

Do I need a separate driver?

Yes, these downlights require a compatible LED driver. We stock matching drivers and can recommend the right one for the number of fittings you are installing.

Are the downlights dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable driver and compatible dimmer. Contact us and we will match a dimming solution to your model.

Are they suitable for New Zealand homes and commercial projects?

Absolutely. Our downlight range is designed and stocked for New Zealand residential and commercial use, and we support both single-home and large project orders.

Do you deliver the D-Lightz Tilt LED Downlight New Zealand-wide?

Yes. Specialized Lighting Concepts dispatches the D-Lightz Tilt LED Downlight nationwide from our Auckland warehouse. Freight is calculated at checkout, and you are welcome to contact us for a quote on larger or trade orders.
